A Typical Day...

It’s my 2nd day back at work after vacation and I am dragging.  It’s hard getting back into a routine.  Joe and I had a wonderful time in Chicago and Michigan – we went to two baseball games, did a ton of sightseeing, go-carts, tennis, batting cages, golf and visiting with friends and family.  For most of the trip, the weather was well over 95 degrees and there was one day in Chicago where we had to shower 3 times because we were so sweaty (gross)– but it was a great summer trip.  Now I just have to get back into everyday mode…

I’ve had tons of questions of when Conjured (Book 2 in the New England Witch Chronicles series) will be ready (December 2011, I have the first six chapters completed), but I wanted to explain a typical day in my life so you all can see how busy I am and why its going to take a few more months for the book to be ready:

5:30 am: Wake up.  My husband has to be at work at 6 am, so I wake up when he’s about to leave for work.  Note: My Chihuahua doesn’t get out of bed until about 8:30.

5:45 am – 7: 30 am: Writing (or editing, depending on what I’m working on)

7:30 am – 9:30 am: Getting ready for work; commuting into Manhattan (Note: riding the underground PATH train – its like the subway that runs under the Hudson River – is the worst part of my day.  There are waaay too many people in a small underground space.)

9:30 am – 5:30 pm (or later): Work (doing attorney things….)

5:30-ish – 6:30 pm: Commuting home… see note above about scary PATH train

6:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Cooking dinner, eating dinner, cleaning up dinner…

8:00 pm – 8:45-ish: Laundry, cleaning, everyday stuff, etc.

8:45ish – 10:30 pm: Writing (or editing)

10:30 pm / 11:00 pm: Bedtime

So, as you can see my life is really chaotic, but I love every minute of it. I really appreciate everyone’s support of my novel New England Witch Chronicles and I can’t wait to get the second book out (don’t worry all of those questions you were wondering about at the end of the book will be answered in Conjured)!

Monday Morning...

Good Morning Everyone!  I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  My weekend was great, except for about 4 hours on Sunday.  My husband and I are working on formatting New England Witch Chronicles for Barnes & Noble Nook, Sony Reader, IBooks (Ipads and Iphones) and Diesel.  It’s a loooong process.  We submitted, but it was rejected due to some hidden html errors.  Anyhow, we’re going to try again tonight or tomorrow night, and hopefully the other formats will be ready in the next two weeks or so.

Did everyone watch True Blood last night??  I didn’t care for the first episode of the season (I’m not a fan of the fairy story line), but its getting better as the episodes go.  I love the new memory-erased Eric.

Stay cool (it’s super hot today in New York) and enjoy your Monday!

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July! I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday! This past weekend my husband, Joe, and I spend a ridiculous amount of hours working on the html code for the Amazon Kindle Version of New England Witch Chronicles.  Joe, being the computer genius that he is, finally figured it out and we submitted the ebook version to Amazon for review. It should be available for purchase on the Kindle for $2.99 by the end of this week.  I'll post the link as soon as its available.

**Update: Amazon Kindle Version should be ready by the end of this week!

Next week we hope to format the book for the Barnes & Noble Nook, Sony Reader, Ipads and Iphones.

In the meantime, you can still purchase a paperback version of New England Witch Chronicles by clicking here for $9.99!

Have a safe holiday!
